Membership Criteria
To be considered for membership, candidates must hold at least one of the following titles at a company that generates at least $500K in annual revenue or has obtained at least $500K in total institutional funding:
- Owner/founder/co-founder
- C-level executive
- Vice president and above who leads a region/division
- Head of a regional department or principal decision maker
You may also qualify if you hold at least one of the following titles at a U.S. accredited, degree-granting institution:
- CEO, president, vice president, provost, chancellor
- Chief academic officer or other senior academic role
- Professor with 5+ years experience
Alternatively, you may qualify for membership if you have qualified proof that you’re an expert in one of our approved expertise areas. Examples include:
- A professional speaker who has conducted 25+ paid speaking gigs or generates at least $50K annually through keynote presentations
- A bylined columnist who is a monthly contributor to a reputable industry publication, website, or international outlet
- A TV, radio, or podcast show host who publishes at least once a month. Must have documentation of downloads and/or audience reach of 3K followers
Residency
Newsweek Expert Forum is currently accepting applications only from those residing in the US or Canada. Companies with North America addresses will not be considered if the applicant is not based in the US or Canada.
Note: We cannot accept applications from people residing (or companies headquartered) in China, Russia, Venezuela, Cuba, North Korea, or Iran.
