Kimberly Brown is committed to helping everyone rediscover the power of compassion and love. As a meditation teacher, she offers an approachable pathway to personal and collective well-being using modern techniques based on traditional Buddhist contemplations. Kimberly is the author of Steady, Calm, and Brave: 25 Practices for Wisdom and Resilience in a Crisis, (Publishing with Heart, 2020), and her next book, Navigating Grief And Loss, will be published in October 2022 by Prometheus Books. A leading voice in the contemporary meditation community, Kimberly guides individuals and groups. She teaches at at many mindfulness centers, including Mindful Astoria, New York Insight Meditation Center, Shantideva Meditation Center, and The Rubin Museum. She's a faculty member of The Interdependence Project, and leads a monthly workshop for cancer patients at Gilda’s Club.
