Robbin McManne, CEO of “Parenting For Connection,” is a certified parent coach, author, podcaster and speaker. She works with parents worldwide to help them build better connections with their children, alleviating family tensions and yielding more joy. McManne’s work focuses on empowering parents, diminishing feelings of anxiety and shame, and helping them to raise children who are resilient, confident, and possess strong emotional intelligence. Prior to founding Parenting For Connection, McManne juggled a full-time career as a marketer for McDonald’s alongside being a wife and mom to two boys. She understands firsthand how many moms struggle to balance work and family, an understanding that has deeply informed her coaching practice. Her own challenges as a parent led to her discovery of peaceful parenting, and resulted in the decision to dedicate her life to teaching parents how to build a strong family. McManne’s award-winning podcast, “Parenting our Future,” is ranked in the top 0.5% percent of all podcasts globally; she is number 13 in the top 50 “Moms in Podcasting” worldwide. In 2019, she was a finalist for an Award for Merit as one of the top Canadian “Momepreneurs.” McManne is also the author of the best-selling book The Yelling Cure: How to Stress Less and Get Your Kids to Cooperate Without Threats & Punishments.

A business leader may be defined by the work their company does or the goals it accomplishes, but their individual status as a great leader comes down to the characteristics they possess that set them apart from others. Management transitions can be tricky, so it's important to have a plan in place when a senior staff member makes their exit. There comes a time in every company when a leader is ready to move on. Parenting for Connection is an individualized coaching program with certified parent coach, author, podcaster, and speaker Robbin McManne. McManne works with parents of difficult, high needs and strong-willed children, who are frustrated with their children’s behaviors, but feel powerless and ashamed, and unable to effect meaningful changes to this dynamic. McManne teaches parents new tools and strategies to put into practice in order to create new behavior patterns and emotional responses for them and their children, ultimately yielding more peaceful, cooperative, connected families. McManne believes that in any other job, the employee would receive training–yet with parenting, there is an expectation that we all know what to do from Day 1. She seeks to demystify the idea of “perfect” parenting, understanding that parents, too, are driven by stress and emotions; ultimately, she teaches them to respond with affirmation and empathy to their children, turning conflicts into conversations. The results are happier, calmer parents and caregivers, and children who are confident, resilient, and have lifelong positive relationships with their parents. McManne is especially attuned to the struggles of children existing on the LGBTQIA+ spectrum and their families; she advocates an approach of affirmation and love, and supplies parents with tools to handle these transitions as a family.
